Here's my 30 minute challenge droid. Drawn in illustrator in 30 minutes - all good fun.

Vampire Sketch, originally uploaded by [rich].

Not my normal bag - just wanted to see if I could do a pencil portrait style sketch, never know what the future holds with the inking...

Ghost and his 2 new brothers, originally uploaded by [rich].

Here's the first to clones out of the mould. Both need trimming and cleaning up, but will wait until I have cast at least another 10. Clone number one had a little air bubble, but worked out where I went wrong and mastered it for clone number 2.

Anyone interested in owning one let me know :-D

Flip Mould Reverse it., originally uploaded by [rich].

Not to be mistaken with the 'flip reverse' song by boyband 'Blazin' Squad' - this is phase 2 of the ghost mould. Now with added air holes thanks to the tip off from you guys,

Tattoo training day 1, originally uploaded by [rich].

Let the carnage commence :-D

Today was my first day learning to tattoo. I now know how to set up machines, sterilise them etc.

But the best part? I actually got to ink somebody. Not a full tattoo just inking in outlines - but that's on someones chest for life now :-)

Can't wait for next time.

Ghost mould making, originally uploaded by [rich].

Making the mould part 1.

Thanks to Okkles guide I hope that I've done it right, not sure but fingers crossed it'll work out.

The bottom is a layer of plasticine - how comes when I mixed it all up it went dark green? When I was a kid it always went turd brown.

GashlyCrumb, originally uploaded by [rich].

This book has been hanging around the studio at work - the front cover is awesome. The rest of the illustrations are sweet old school pen and ink - check it out if you get the chance.

Help! Pages 47&48, originally uploaded by [rich].

The evil is spreading - everywhere!

Beware Part 2, originally uploaded by [rich].

He may look cute but every ghost has an evil lining.

Sexy Eye Soup..., originally uploaded by [rich].

This was the scribble that ended up on the back of my hand this afternoon.

It started with 'SOUP' - note to self to pick up said product for ill wife on the way home.

Next came 'EYE' - needed to remind myself to fill in the eye of my cute ghost sculpt and refire him.

Lastly - 'SEXY' - don't forget to bring sexy beast dvd to work to lend to a mate.

All in all SEXY EYE SOUP.

Small Ghost, originally uploaded by [rich].

Messing around with the owl had left me with some time and Sculpey - so I thought I'd make one of the little ghosts that I have been drawing. He's only small, but has come out OK - I'll think I'll make a batch and see what happens... It'll give the Skull Worms something to chase.

To the right, originally uploaded by [rich].

Finally managed to get my ass in gear and finish messing with the owl.

Next stop - car boot sale for lego bricks and then onto casting duty(with Okkles handy step-by-step guide to hand).

Ping Rhino Multi, originally uploaded by [rich].

Ideas for my next sculpt - modified from the doodles posted before.

Pages 41&42, originally uploaded by [rich].

This is a little creature I've been drawing for my daughter. I'll post some different sketches (arms and mouth etc) to get some feedback as I'm thinking that I may make him when I get done with the owl...what do you guys think? Don't be shy let me know.

Ol' Uncle Tapeworm, originally uploaded by nervousonion.

How GREAT is this picture! Straight from the deviant mind of the Nervous Onion (not sure why he's nervy - maybe some dodgy peeling issues).

I recommend clicking the picture to view some more of his awesome doodles and while you're over there check out his socktastic toys.

Oh yeah, he also has a cheeky blog:

Skull Trainers, originally uploaded by [rich].

Started these last night - haven't finished yet as I managed to pick up some sickness bug.

Pretty happy how they are going - What you think? Might do some to order if anyone is interested.

Ghost Fart, originally uploaded by [rich].

Just a couple of scribbles from todays mousemat.

Rush - The little vampire bat who can't stand being upside down.

Painted Skull Head Worms, originally uploaded by [rich].

Well here's a quick pic of the test "SkullHead Worms" - it needs tidying up when it's dried (the skulls need the work)

Didn't come out that bad after dropping it. Next batch I'm going to make at least 5 worms coming out of the base - making them longer and not dropand smash them (also sand 'em off before painting). Then they should look more like the ones here:

What you think? :-D

Jelly-Fist Friday Challenge, originally uploaded by [rich].

I was asked by a mate to bring an idea of his to life:

His name is Jelly-Fist and he’s the world’s first jelly-fish superhero. Part martial arts expert, part gooey, stingy ocean creature; fighting marine crime with a poisonous tentacle-chop to the gon@ds.

Here's my first go - Fancy a bash, just for laughs? Scribble and upload to Flickr and link back here - all good fun.

Cheers

A new haul of stickers to swap/trade/sell. If you want in let me know.

Owl sculpt, originally uploaded by [rich].

Here's all the elements lined up. Another coat of sanding then it's on with the beak. One thing I would like to say - how nice does sculpey feel when it's been wet and dried to an inch of its life...sweet.

Owl Sculpt, originally uploaded by [rich].

Draw, drill, sand, stick, sculpt and repeat. Getting there (I think). Learning alot about sculpting for production with this one, there's much I will do differently on the next project.

Pages 19&20 Islanders, originally uploaded by [rich].

No pen today I'm afraid - just had my trusty pencil. For some reason it spat these chaps out all over the page, I'm not complaining though :-D

Okkle Stickers, originally uploaded by [rich].

If you like stickers (come on who don't) get your ass over and get your dirty fingers on some at the Okkle shop.

Pages 17&18, originally uploaded by [rich].

Been working on and off this one over the weekend :-D Need to get a new pen to do the backgrounds as the 0.5 one I'm using takes ages - suggestions would be very welcome.
